Shriram Pujari Pratisthan Solapur.

               Students and Friends of Prof. Shriram Pujari had founded Shriram Pujari  Pratisthan on 25th July 1980 towards their Respect, Love and Affection for Prof.Pujari. The idea and inspiration behind founding pratisthan was from Dnyanpeeth Awardee Late Shri D R Bendre. His contribution and guidance to pratisthan is very invaluable. The foundation Ceremony was headed by Late. Seth Lalchand Hirachand (Solapur) and Late Shri Laxmanshastri Joshi (Vai-Satara). Late Dr. Kumar Gandharva was the first President of Pratisthan. After them Pandit Bhimsen Joshi is presiding the Pratisthan. Retired Judge of Mumbai High court Shri Prakash Shah and wellknown Film Director Dr. Jabbar Patel are the vice presidents of Pratisthan. Twenty five wellknown personalities in various field are the trustees of Pratisthan. Some of them are the students and friends of Prof. Shriram Pujari. Around 200 scholar and poor students are benifited by help of Pratisthan in last 25 years. For that Pratisthan has spent around Fifteen lacs rupees. Presently Pratisthan is having deposites of around Twenty Three lacs Rupees.

           Many friends and students of Prof. Pujari doante Rs 365 per year (Rs 1 per day) to trust. Due to number of donations, today pratisthan is economically very strong. Due to deep study, love on music and friendship with well known singers, Pandit Kumar Gandharva, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi and Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande did many programmes for trust. Wellknown Film Director and Student of Prof. Pujari Dr. Jabbar Patel have arranged premiers of his famous movies at Solapur in order to make pratisthan economically very strong.

          While helping poor and scholor students, pratisthan never take any type of gaurantee or do any agreement with student. But we are expecting help in form of donations to pratisthan from these students in future.
